One Response to “Does an Online Dating Stigma Still Exist?”
  1. Barbara says:

I really thought that there was a stigma around online dating. I was married for 25 years and then divorced and interested in starting to date again. I tried a few things – speed dating, hanging out at the bars, singles groups – but nothing really worked! Then I tried online. After turning down a few, or even ignoring some, I met a really great guy. When people ask me how we met, I’m still a little hesitant to say ‘on line’, but when I do the response I usually get is, “Oh, my (brother, sister, friend, aunt, etc) met someone online and they are still together!”
