FROM THE EDITOR
Doing things to always keep your relationship interesting will make your courtship a memorable one for both you and your partner. I'm reminded of a past relationship where the girl - we'll call her "Jen" - enjoyed creating a theme around gifts she would buy me for my birthday or Christmas. One year for my birthday she based her gifts on an "entertainment/movie" theme. I was presented with a large empty movie popcorn bucket full of gifts - a DVD of my favorite movie that had just been released, a booklet of free movie tickets for the local theater, a bag of movie popcorn, a box of movie candy (i.e. Junior Mints), a soundtrack to one of my favorite movies, and a small movie poster from a film I loved. The gesture, and creative thought that went into it, was definitely memorable and enjoyable.

Creating a theme around your gift-giving can be a lot of fun. It may be a bit challenging, but you'll have fun doing it and your partner will likely appreciate the thought and effort you went through.

One thing some new couples worry about is their relationship going "stale". In the beginning, everything is new and exciting. Then, after a couple of months, things start to settle into a predictable routine. To keep your relationship fresh, do things regularly to introduce new excitement into your relationship. Exercise your mind by thinking of creative gestures. This does a great job of building a healthier relationship that rarely goes stale. And because partners tend to mimic their significant other's behavior, you may find some creative ideas being reciprocated for you in the future.

Best of success in your relationships,
