Karma Night Out – Creative Date Idea

(Online Dating Newsletter Creative Date Ideas) This week our creative date idea is a Karma Night Out. As you are likely aware, karma is the concept that if you do good things for others then good things will happen to you. And if you do bad things to others then bad things will happen to you.

For Karma Night Out, your goal is to go around the city and do nice things for other people. Here are some examples:

> Give a homeless person some money or a gift card for a food outlet (i.e. Taco Bell Bucks).

> Go through a fast food drive-thru that is busy and when you get to the window, tell the person that you are paying for your meal and the meal for the car directly behind you.

> Volunteer at a community event or a shelter that serves food to the homeless.

> Take a walk in a polated area and smile at people and say “hi”.

> If you’re walking past an area where someone is about to go into a building, pull the door open for them.

> Pick up a piece of trash from the sidewalk and throw it away (also take with you antibacterial wipes/soap).

> Put change in someone’s parking meter that has expired (check local laws first, as some cities actually consider it a crime!)

Be alert and look for any situation on the date where you can safely help someone. We guarantee that it will be one of the most memorable dates you’ve ever had.

Sounds like a nice way to spend an evening. Not as romantic as other possible dates but could bring you closer in a different way. It’s also activities like these that have a real potential to change your life.

I would also like like to give gifts or sponsor somebody’s education. I totally believe in karma. What happens to you today is a result of your deeds, good or bad.

  3. Krish says:

This was really a creative idea with a different thought. In today’s busy World, most of us are occupied with our own work and forget to help or do good things to others. Offering food, money or sponsoring for education to the needy would make a great difference in our life.

  4. Lori says:

By taking this up a notch and making it a competition with your new date you can show your compassion for those around you, while making it a small competition! Ensure there is a great prize for the person that has completed the most good deeds!

  5. Tenkeys says:

This is a good way to see the “charitable” side of him. I like a man with a big heart who thinks of the welfare of others. The date may not necessary focus on charity but I like him being spontaneous and helping somebody out if the chance came during our date.

  6. Right says:

I am a firm believer of karma…Be good to others and the world will be good to you!

I sincerely have faith in the human side of all individuals. It is just that some people use it more often while others do not! It is actually a good idea to be doing such good things. It also makes your partner aware of your compassionate side.
